LOUISVILLE, Kentucky — On Thursday, March 28th, LFA hosted the weigh-in for LFA 180: Lawrence vs. Ward from the Crowne Plaza in Louisville, Kentucky. The main event will feature a Featherweight Showdown between Dana White’s Contender Series alum Lance “The Tornado” Lawrence (7-4) and LFA Fans’ Choice Awards: Fight of the Year nominee Landry “The Lone Star Kid” Ward (8-2).

LFA 180: Lawrence vs. Ward, presented by BetOnline, takes place Friday, March 29th at the Broadbent Arena at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

The main event will feature a featherweight showdown between top prospects Lance “The Tornado” Lawrence and Landry “The Lone Star Kid” Ward.

LFA 180 will feature veteran MMA commentator Ron Kruck, who will be joined in the booth by top-ranked UFC star and TUF 15 champion Michael “Maverick” Chiesa. The Brazilian-Portuguese commentary team will consist of BJJ black belt Plinio Cruz (Coach of UFC light-heavyweight champion Alex Pereira) and Brazilian MMA analyst Max Soares. They will call the action live from Broadbent Arena at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The entire main card will be available worldwide on UFC Fight Pass at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.

Every fighter, except Ethan Burmingham, made their contracted weights when they stepped on the scale. Burmingham will now forfeit a portion of his purse to his opponent. LFA 180 will proceed with thirteen bouts, which includes the Featherweight Showdown at the top of the card.
