AUSTIN, TX – (October 20, 2026) – FloSports today announced a new partnership with Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA), marking a new entry into mixed martial arts and a major expansion of its combat sports portfolio. The agreement will bring five LFA events to FloSports in 2026, followed by 25 in 2027, connecting fans with one of the sport’s leading proving grounds for emerging talent.
The LFA expands on FloSports’ leadership position in wrestling and grappling, adding a top MMA promotion with a throughline to those sports. The LFA will be showcased on FloCombat, a FloSports channel devoted to MMA, Karate, and other combat sports. It will be supported by a full range of editorial content and social programming to connect fans directly with the sport and its athletes.
“We’ve built deep connections with wrestling and grappling communities by investing in the athletes, events and stories that matter to them,” said Mike Levy, SVP Global Rights and Acquisitions. “The LFA is a natural addition to our offering and fits squarely in our DNA. We’re excited to connect more fans to these events and their athletes.”
LFA began staging events in 2017 following the merger of Resurrection Fighting Alliance and Legacy Fighting Championship. With events across the United States and Brazil, the organization has built a reputation for identifying and developing athletes ready for MMA’s biggest stages. According to LFA, more than 400 athletes have progressed through its developmental pipeline to compete in the UFC.
That legacy includes some of the sport’s most recognizable names. LFA and its predecessor organizations showcased future UFC titleholders including Alex Pereira, Sean O’Malley, Alexandre Pantoja, KamaruUsman, Holly Holm, McKenzie Dern, and Valentina Shevchenko, giving fans an early look at fighters who would go on to reach the top of the sport.
Today’s LFA lineup continues that tradition. Featured athletes include bantamweight champion RafaelPereira, who captured the title with a second-round knockout in September; UFC veteran Nick Maximov, who headlined LFA’s October return to Santa Cruz, California; and undefeated lightweight contender Ansar Khamzaev, who is scheduled to face Juliano Prescendo for the vacant lightweight championship later this month.
“The LFA is proud to join forces with FloSports as we continue our mission of launching the sport’s next generation of superstars,” said Ed Soares, CEO of LFA. “FloSports has built an incredible foundation in combat sports through their dedication to wrestling and grappling, making FloCombat the ideal home to showcase the future stars of MMA. This partnership allows us to expand our broadcast reach and deliver over 30 top-tier events across 2026 and 2027, giving our athletes the global platform and storytelling they deserve as they build their legacy.”
The addition of the LFA to the FloSports portfolio continues the company’s acquisition of top league rights where it serves as the exclusive rights holder or serves as a supplementary streaming partner to extend their reach. Recent partnerships include the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s CARS Tour Series, and the National Lacrosse League (NLL).
