NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK — The LFA concluded its February schedule on the USA-Canada international border in Niagara Falls with a Championship Doubleheader. In the main event, two-time Russian national wrestling champion Shamidkhan Magomedov defeated Devin Smyth via TKO after taking Smyth’s back and finishing him with unanswered punches at 3:55 of Round 1. The win made the Russian the new LFA interim welterweight champion. In the co-main event, top Canadian prospect Shannon “MMA Barbie” Clark remained undefeated after submitting Thaiany Lopes with a vicious Bulldog Choke at 2:12 of Round 2 to become the LFA women’s flyweight world champion.
