DALLAS, Texas — On Thursday, October 5th, LFA hosted the weigh-in for LFA 169: Ward vs. Walker from the Crowne Plaza Dallas – Market Center in Dallas, Texas. The main event will feature a Texas vs. Oklahoma Showdown on the Eve of the Red River Rivalry when top Texas prospect Landry “Lone Star Kid” Ward (8-1) faces Oklahoma standout Alfred “Freight Train” Walker (11-6).

 

LFA 169 will feature veteran MMA commentator Ron Kruck, who will be joined in the booth by current UFC star and UFC Hall of Fame member Cub Swanson. The Brazilian-Portuguese commentary team will feature current UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja, who is also a former LFA promotional champion under the RFA banner. He will call the action alongside Brazilian MMA analyst Max Soares. They will call the action live inside the The Factory in Deep Ellum in Dallas, Texas.

 

The main card will be available tomorrow night LIVE on UFC FIGHT PASS® at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. Tickets are available for purchase on TheFactoryInDeepEllum.com.

 

Alfred Walker failed to make his contracted weight when he stepped on the scale. He will now forfeit a portion of his purse to his opponent. LFA 169 will proceed with nine bouts, which includes the Featherweight Showdown at the top of the card.
