OWENSBORO, Kentucky — On Thursday, June 15th, LFA hosted the weigh-in for LFA 160: Sweeney vs. Begosso from the Holiday Inn Owensboro Riverfront in Owensboro, Kentucky. The main event will feature a bantamweight world title fight between top contenders John “Hollywood” Sweeney (12-3) and Allan “Mini” Begosso (7-2-1). Then in the co-main event, the interim middleweight title will be on the line between Dylan “The Mindless Hulk” Budka (5-1) and “Iron” Azamat Bekoev (15-3).

LFA 160 will feature veteran MMA commentator Ron Kruck, who will be joined in the booth by former UFC star and Strikeforce champion Gilbert “El Niño” Melendez. The Brazilian-Portuguese commentary team will consist of former UFC light-heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida and Brazilian MMA analyst Max Soares. They will call the action live inside the Owensboro Sportscenter in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Every fighter, except Josiah Harrell, made their contracted weight when they stepped on the scales. Harrell will now fight Michael Roberts in a catchweight bout. LFA 160 will proceed with eleven bouts, which includes the championship doubleheader at the top of the card.
