Havener and Woodley with Convincing Wins in LFA 235

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (June 19, 2026) – Legacy Fighting Alliance returned to Freedom Hall on Friday night for LFA 235, presented by Monster Energy. In front of a raucous Louisville crowd, the promotion delivered 13 action-packed bouts highlighted by a two-fight middleweight mini-tournament to determine the next champion for the vacant LFA Middleweight Championship.

In the main event, Evansville’s Zayne Havener faced fellow rising contender Andrew Stewart in a pivotal middleweight showdown with title implications. The co-main event featured another middleweight clash as Jake Woodley and David Wright returned to action just 11 weeks after competing at LFA 230.

Havener overcame an aggressive opening round from Stewart before taking control in the second round. Remaining composed under pressure, Havener secured an Arm Triangle Choke submission that forced Stewart to tap. The impressive victory moved Havener in line for a shot at the vacant LFA Middleweight Title and further established him as one of the division’s top prospects.

The co-main event produced one of the most memorable moments in LFA history. Woodley set a new LFA record by knocking out Wright just four seconds into the opening round. A perfectly timed overhand right landed flush and dropped Wright immediately, ending the fight almost as soon as it began. With UFC legend Holly Holm in his corner, Woodley improved his professional record to 8-1, while Wright fell to 6-3. The record-setting victory positioned Woodley for a potential showdown with Havener to crown the next LFA Middleweight Champion.

The promotion now heads to one of its longtime homes, Phoenix, Arizona, for LFA 236 at Arizona Financial Theatre. The main event will feature a bantamweight showdown between Chilean veteran Eduardo Torres (19-3) and dangerous Kyrgyz contender Aziz Osorbek Uulu (20-8).

The main card will air live in the United States on VICE TV at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT, with a Spanish-language simulcast on ESPN Deportes. Internationally, the event will be available on ESPN throughout Latin America, including Mexico, Brazil, and the Caribbean. In addition, the main card will air live on Fight Club across Russia and the CIS countries, as well as worldwide on the LFA Fight Network™ on YouTube.
