LAS VEGAS, Nevada — LFA CEO Ed Soares announced today that the promotion will return to the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota on Friday, September 18th, for LFA 242: Lozej vs. Bittencourt. The event marks another return to one of the LFA’s signature venues and features a pivotal flyweight main event between two of the division’s most accomplished contenders.
LFA 242: Lozej vs. Bittencourt, presented by Monster Energy, takes place Friday, September 18th, 2026 at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. CT, with the preliminary card beginning at 4:45 p.m. CT, followed by the main card at 8:00 p.m. CT. The event will air LIVE in the United States on VICE TV, while fans across Latin America can watch on ESPN Deportes and ESPN KnockOut.
The main event will feature former LFA Flyweight title challenger Devon Lozej (9-3) taking on Brazilian Dana White’s Contender Series veteran Davi Bittencourt Costa (16-4) in a high-stakes flyweight showdown.
Lozej has established himself as one of the LFA’s premier flyweights after earning an opportunity to compete for the LFA Flyweight Championship last year. The longtime LFA veteran has consistently tested himself against the division’s best and returns to Mystic Lake determined to work his way back into title contention. A victory over Bittencourt would place him firmly back in the championship conversation.
Standing across from him will be Davi Bittencourt Costa, a Brazilian Dana White’s Contender Series veteran and longtime LFA standout. Throughout his career, Bittencourt has earned victories over both of the promotion’s current flyweight champions, Eduardo Chapolin and Marcos Degli, establishing himself as one of the division’s most accomplished contenders. With 16 professional victories and years of experience competing at the highest level of regional MMA, the Brazilian returns to the LFA looking to earn another opportunity to compete for championship gold.

LFA 242 continues that tradition with another high-level matchup featuring two elite flyweight contenders with championship aspirations.
