Ikei wins decision over Pacheco in LFA 236

PHOENIX, Arizona (June 26, 2026) – Legacy Fighting Alliance returned to the Arizona Financial Theatre on Friday night for LFA 236, presented by Monster Energy. Despite a chaotic 24 hours leading up to the event, the promotion delivered an entertaining night of fights.

The card underwent significant changes after the original main event between Francisco Hernandez and Pepe Torres was cancelled when the Arizona Athletic Commission identified a potential issue during pre-fight drug testing. With the previously scheduled headliner scratched, the flyweight bout between Chance Ikei and Enrique Pacheco Parra was elevated to the night’s main event.

LFA 236 had already lost multiple bouts due to weight issues earlier in the week, but Ikei and Pacheco delivered a competitive three-round contest. A familiar face to LFA fans, Ikei was making his first appearance since competing at LFA 220 in October 2025, while Pacheco was returning for just his second fight with the promotion after last appearing at LFA 200 more than a year ago.

The flyweight showdown was closely contested from start to finish, with neither fighter able to separate himself decisively. After three hard-fought rounds, Ikei earned a unanimous decision victory to improve his professional record to 7-1. Pacheco fell to 9-3.

The night’s co-main event produced one of the most unusual finishes in recent LFA history. Kevin Fernandez and Kyle Estrada battled to a closely contested decision that was initially announced as a unanimous victory for Estrada. However, following a review by the Arizona Athletic Commission, a scoring error was discovered. The official result was subsequently corrected, awarding Fernandez a split decision victory. The dramatic reversal improved Fernandez’s record to 9-1.

The promotion now takes a brief break before returning with LFA 237 at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The event will feature an international bantamweight showdown between Bolivia’s Carlos Tardio (12-2) and Brazil’s Mackson Lee (9-1).

The main card will air live in the United States on VICE TV at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT, with a Spanish-language simulcast on ESPN Deportes. Internationally, the event will be available on ESPN throughout Latin America, including Mexico, Brazil, and the Caribbean. The main card will also air live on Fight Club across Russia and the CIS countries, as well as worldwide on the LFA Fight Network™ on YouTube.
