BITTENCOURT DELIVERS KNOCKOUT IN LFA 242 MAIN EVENT

PRIOR LAKE, Minn. — Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) delivered another explosive night of action on Friday night, as LFA 242: Lozej vs. Bittencourt, presented by Monster Energy, rocked the Mystic Showroom at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. The stacked card featured statement finishes, fast-paced stoppages, and standout performances.

In the flyweight headliner, Brazilian contender Davi Bittencourt Costa cemented his claim at the top of the 125-pound division with a sensational second-round stoppage over Devon Lozej. After a closely contested, high-paced opening frame, Bittencourt found the timing and elevation late in Round 2, landing a devastating flush head kick that sent Lozej to the canvas. The referee stepped in to wave off the contest at 4:13 of the second round, awarding Bittencourt the marquee knockout victory and positioning him squarely in title contention.

The bantamweight co-main event provided immediate fireworks as Brazil’s Marcos Breno needed only 21 seconds to dispatch Japanese standout Shuya Kamikubo. Breno stormed out at the opening horn, unleashing a blistering barrage of power strikes that connected clean and dropped Kamikubo, forcing a rapid referee stoppage at 0:21 of Round 1.
