Prior Lake, Minnesota (April 17, 2026) – Legacy Fighting Alliance returned to Minnesota on Friday night, hosting LFA 231 at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in front of a packed crowd. The event, presented by Monster Energy, featured a late change to the main event, showcasing two top flyweight prospects—Ernesto Ibarra and Devon Lozej—after the originally scheduled bout between Taner Trembley and Elijah Johns was canceled due to Johns withdrawing with an illness.
Ibarra and Lozej delivered an action-packed main event, with both fighters coming out aggressively from the opening bell. In the first round, Lozej connected with a sharp left hook that stunned Ibarra and led to a submission attempt, but Ibarra managed to escape. The momentum shifted decisively in the second round when Ibarra again walked into a powerful left hook. This time, Lozej capitalized, finishing the fight with ground strikes for a statement victory.
The win marked a strong rebound for Lozej following his previous LFA loss to Eduardo “Chapolin” Henrique, improving his professional record to 9-3. Ibarra, meanwhile, fell to 11-2.
In the co-main event, Taner Trembley remained undefeated after stepping in to face Korey Taylor in a catchweight bout. Trembley proved dominant throughout, securing a second-round finish with a barrage of punches and knees to move his record to 7-0.
LFA will take a brief hiatus before returning on May 15 for LFA 232 at the Foxwoods Resort Casino. The event will be headlined by a featherweight world title bout, as Brazil’s Erick Visconde faces Uruguay’s Gustavo Pintos for the vacant championship. LFA 232, presented by Monster Energy, will air live in the United States on VICE TV. Tickets are available now via Ticketmaster.
