MASHANTUCKET, CONNECTICUT — On Thursday, November 13th, LFA hosted the official weigh-in for LFA 222: Pires vs. Belakh at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. The event will be headlined by a bantamweight world title bout between Brazilian champion Vinicius Pires (11-1) and Kazakhstan’s Artem Belakh (10-2).
LFA 222, presented by Monster Energy, will feature veteran MMA commentator Ron Kruck, joined in the broadcast booth by former Strikeforce legend and UFC star Gilbert “El Niño” Melendez. They will call the action live from the Foxwoods Resort Casino.
The main card will stream live tomorrow night, Friday, November 14th, on UFC FIGHT PASS® at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. Limited tickets remain available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com.
All fighters successfully made weight, and LFA 222 will proceed with ten bouts, capped by the bantamweight world championship at the top of the card.
