LAS VEGAS, Nevada (June 4, 2026) — LFA CEO Ed Soares announced today that the promotion will return to the “Valley of the Sun” in June with an international bantamweight showdown at LFA 236. This will mark another return to the state of Arizona, one of the LFA’s most established markets, and another event at the Arizona Financial Theatre in downtown Phoenix.
“We’re excited to return to Phoenix with another high-level international matchup,” stated Soares. “Aziz Osorbek Uulu, is an aggressive and dangerous fighter who always brings action. Eduardo Torres brings a wealth of experience and has proven himself against tough competition throughout his career. This is exactly the kind of world class headlining bout that LFA fans have come to expect.”
Aziz Osorbek Uulu (20-8), a battle-tested finisher representing Kyrgyzstan. Known for his aggressive style, pressure, and willingness to engage, Osorbek Uulu brings extensive professional experience and international pedigree into the matchup. A victory in Phoenix would position him for the biggest opportunity of his career.
Standing across from him will be Eduardo Torres (19-3) who enters the bout as one of Chile’s most experienced and accomplished MMA veterans. With 22 professional fights and victories over seasoned competition, Torres has built his reputation through durability, technical skill, and consistency. Now, he gets the opportunity to headline on one of the LFA’s biggest stages in Phoenix.
LFA 236: Torres vs. Uulu, presented by Monster Energy, takes place Friday, June 26th at Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona. The main event will feature a bantamweight showdown between Chilean veteran Eduardo Torres (19-3) and dangerous Kyrgyz contender Aziz Osorbek Uulu (20-8). The main card will air live in the United States on VICE TV at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT, with a Spanish-language simulcast on ESPN Deportes. Internationally, the event will be available via ESPN across Latin America, including Mexico, Brazil, and the Caribbean.
