BRASÍLIA, Brazil (January 22, 2026) — Legacy Fighting Alliance returned to Brazil for the first time in 2026 with an electric event for LFA 225, presented by Monster Energy, at the Ginásio Nilson Nelson on Friday night. In the Main Event, the Interim Flyweight Championship title was on the line as Marcos Degli took on Luis Aguiar. Aguiar had missed weight the previous night, but the fight remained important for both sides. Degli made it clear from the start that he was determined to keep his title in front of a packed house. A body shot (to the liver) from Degli in the first round resulted in Aguiar’s demise and the fight was stopped at the 1:35 mark with Degli the victor. The win took his record to 14-3 while Aguiar dropped to 9-2.
The promotion heads back to Clarksville, Tennessee on February 6th for LFA 226 at the F&M Bank Arena. The main event will feature reigning LFA Middleweight Champion David Allakhverdiev (7-0) of Ukraine defending his title against dangerous challenger Joe “The Land Animal” Kropschot (7-3) in a matchup that promises fireworks inside the cage.
