PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA (APRIL 16, 2026) — On Thursday, April 16th, Legacy Fighting Alliance hosted the official weigh-in for LFA 231: Lozej vs. Ibarra from the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota.
The Main Event will now feature a flyweight bout between top prospects Ernesto Ibarra (11-1) and Devon Lozej (8-3). The originally scheduled featherweight main event between Taner Trembley and Elijah Johns was canceled following Johns’ withdrawal due to illness.
LFA 231, presented by Monster Energy, marks another return to one of the organization’s premier venues in the Midwest, the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. The event will feature veteran MMA commentator Ron Kruck, joined by UFC veteran Alan “Brahma” Jouban, calling the action live from Prior Lake, Minnesota. The main card will be available LIVE tomorrow night on VICE TV at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
All fighters successfully made weight for their respective bouts with the exception of Dan Holt and Yermakhan Oryntaev, who missed their contracted weight. As a result, Korey Taylor will now face Taner Trembley in a 160-pound catchweight bout after both athletes weighed in at similar weights (Trembley 158.4 lbs, Taylor 156.0 lbs). The flyweight bout between Yermakhan Oryntaev and Oscar Jurado Sánchez will proceed with Oryntaev paying a penalty to Sánchez.
LFA 231 will move forward with a full fight card, headlined by the International Flyweight showdown between Ibarra and Lozej.
