PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA (January 16, 2026) – Legacy Fighting Alliance kicked off the 2026 season back at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel with LFA 224.  In the main event, a heavyweight title was on the line as Russia’s Arslan Bilalov brought an undefeated record to Minnesota.  He took on American Matt Adams for the vacant belt that had become available after Denzel Freeman signed with the UFC.

Bilalov established control early and finished Adams with a submission near the end of the first round with a rear-naked choke.  It was an impressive win that took Bilalov’s record to 6-0 while also being crowned as the new LFA heavyweight champion.  In the co-main event, Josiah Harrell maintained his undefeated record (11-0) as he defeated Bekmyrza Dosmatov after his corner stopped the fight in the 3rd round.  The other fight results can be found below.

The promotion heads back to Brazil next week with an exciting Interim Flyweight Title fight as current interim champion Marcos Degli returns to defend his title against Luis Aguiar.  LFA 225 takes place in Brasília, Federal District, Brazil, at Ginásio Nilson Nelson on January 23rd.
