MASHANTUCKET, CONNECTICUT (November 12, 2025) – Legacy Fighting Alliance returns to Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut for its 222nd edition. LFA 222: Pires vs. Belakh, presented by Monster Energy, will be available worldwide on UFC FIGHT PASS® at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
- In the Co-Main Event, New England favorite Joe Giannetti (17-7-1) returns to take on tough Chilean fighter Jose Ferreira (13-2, 1 NC). Giannetti has fought 3 times with the LFA, but earned his first LFA win here in this building in March. He has fought twice since then and is coming off a loss to LFA & UFC-vet Dakota Bush in September. Giannetti has a Black Belt in BJJ and was a TUF Season 27 finalist. He has won 8 of his last 11 fights and has 15 finishes in 17 wins. Ferreira is returning to the LFA for the first time since LFA 185 in June 2024, where he beat Cassio Barao by second-round TKO, Ferreira is from Chile, but trains out of Valle Flow Striking Academy in Chicago. Ferreira is coming off a TKO win in April and has 10 finishes in 13 career wins. Don’t blink, these two have combined for 25 finishes.
- In his first LFA appearance since LFA 96 in 2020, Regivaldo Carvalho (11-5) returns to the Octagon against unbeaten Gustavo Pintos (9-0). Originally from Brazil, Carvalho is trained by the great Glover Teixeira and is Tapology’s #1 ranked Featherweight in New England. He has a Black Belt in Karate and a Brown Belt in BJJ. Carvalho has won 5 of his last 6 fights and has 10 finishes in 11 wins. Pintos is from Uruguay and fighting for the first time in the LFA and the U.S. The former World Champion in Kickboxing has 7 KOs out of his 9 wins, including a TKO win in August. 17 combined finishes in this all-South American matchup.
- Someone is likely getting knocked out when Ednilson Santos (13-7-1) and Scottie Stockman (12-6) throw down in a Catchweight bout. Santos is trained by last year’s Coach of the Year ,Plinio Cruz and also trains with Alex Pereira. After a win over UFC-vet Kamuela Kirk in his LFA Debut last November, he was knocked out in a “Fight of the Year” candidate here at Foxwoods in March. Santos has a Black Belt in BJJ but loves throwing hands and has 7 wins via KO. Stockman hails from Oregon and is stepping in on a week’s notice. Stockman was submitted in his LFA Debut last October, but has rattled off 3 MMA fights and 3 Boxing fights since then. Stockman is a Golden Gloves State Champion with a 4-1 Pro Boxing record. In MMA he has 10 wins via KO/TKO.
- In another fight not destined to go very long, Nate Ghareeb (12-3) returns for the second time to take on Josh Harvey (8-3-1). Ghareeb was knocked out by former champion Lerryan Douglas in his LFA Debut, but he gave Douglas all he could handle in the first-round of that fight. Ghareeb has won 3-straight since then, including a Decision win just 35 days ago. Coming from nearby Massachusetts, Ghareeb has 8 finishes in 12 wins and is a perfect 5-0 at Lightweight. Harvey is originally from Maine where he was a 2-time State Champion High School Wrestler, but now trains out of Virginia. He’s 1-3 in his last 4 fights, but is always going for the finish. He has never been to Decision as a Pro, has a 100% finishing rate, and all 8 of his wins have come in the first round.
- The ladies kickoff the main card in what should be an all-stand-up affair as Aline Pereira (1-2) meets Nejra Repp (4-2). Pereira is returning to MMA for the first time since LFA 168 in 2023. She took her talents to Karate Combat where she went 3-0 and won a title. The younger sister of Alex Pereira is a Black Belt in Kickboxing and a 3-time Glory Kickboxing-vet. Repp enjoys a good slugfest and is coming off a “Fight of the Year” contender at LFA 213 in August. After getting rocked multiple times in Round 1, she ended the fight in Round 2 with a vicious KO. Repp hails from Washington and is making her 7th LFA appearance.
