PHOENIX, Arizona (March 12, 2026) — On Thursday, March 12th, LFA hosted the official weigh-in for LFA 228: Natividad vs. Garcia at the host hotel ahead of tomorrow night’s event at the Wild Horse Pass Casino. The card will be headlined by a flyweight showdown between undefeated Arizona-based contender Christian Natividad (8-0) and dangerous veteran Adrian Garcia (10-3-1).

LFA 228, presented by Monster Energy, will feature veteran MMA commentator Ron Kruck alongside former UFC star and Strikeforce champion Gilbert “El Niño” Melendez, who will call the action live from cageside. The event will be broadcast LIVE in the United States on VICE TV, beginning at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.

All athletes successfully made weight for the event with the exception of Carlos Tardio and Chris Ewert. Their bouts will proceed as scheduled with them paying a penalty to their opponent. LFA 228 will move forward with a full fight card, capped off by the highly anticipated flyweight main event between Natividad and Garcia.
