LAS VEGAS, Nevada — LFA announced the full fight card for LFA 231 held on Friday, April 17th, inside the world-class Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. LFA 231 will mark the organization’s continued presence in Minnesota, a market that has consistently delivered electric crowds and elite competition.
LFA 231: Trembley vs Johns, presented by Monster Energy, will feature a pivotal featherweight main event as former LFA champion Elijah Johns (10-3) takes on undefeated Minnesota standout Taner Trembley (6-0) in a scheduled three-round bout.
“Minnesota has become one of our strongest markets, and this is exactly the type of fight the fans here appreciate,” stated Soares. “You have Elijah Johns, a former champion who knows what it takes to win at the highest level in the LFA, against Taner Trembley, an undefeated local fighter looking to make a statement in front of his home crowd.”
Elijah Johns (10-3) returns to the LFA cage with championship experience and a proven résumé inside the promotion. A former LFA titleholder, Johns has faced top-tier opposition and understands the pace, pressure, and expectations that come with main event status. Now looking to reassert himself in the featherweight division, he aims to halt the rise of one of the region’s fastest-growing prospects.
Standing across from him will be Taner Trembley (6-0), a proud Minnesota representative who enters the bout with a perfect professional record. Known for his aggressive style, well-rounded skill set, and ability to finish fights, Trembley has steadily built momentum and now faces the biggest test of his career. Competing in front of a hometown crowd at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel, he will look to remain undefeated while earning the biggest win of his professional career.
