LFA 232: LFA CEO Ed Soares announced today that the promotion will return to the Northeast on Friday, May 15th, for another action-packed night of fights at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. LFA 232 will be headlined by a featherweight world title bout as Brazil’s Erick Visconde faces Uruguay’s Gustavo Pintos for the vacant championship.
The featherweight title became vacant after former champion Lerryan Douglas signed with the UFC, opening the door for two of the division’s top contenders to battle for the belt. The event marks the LFA’s return to Foxwoods Resort Casino, one of the promotion’s premier venues in the Northeast.
