LFA 227: NASCIMENTO vs. KAMIKUBO, presented by Monster Energy, takes place Friday, February 27th, 2026 at the Ventura County Event Center in Ventura, California. The main event will feature long-time LFA veteran Rafael “Mulisha” do Nascimento (11-3) taking on dangerous Japanese standout Shuya Kamikubo (16-2-1) in a bantamweight showdown that pits experience against international pedigree.
Nascimento has been a staple of the LFA bantamweight division, known for his durability, well-rounded skill set, and consistency against high-level opposition. With multiple appearances inside the LFA cage, “Mulisha” has built a reputation as one of the promotion’s most reliable veterans, capable of pushing the pace and breaking opponents over the course of a hard-fought battle.
Standing across from him will be Kamikubo, one of Japan’s most accomplished bantamweight competitors. With 16 victories, including wins across respected international promotions, Kamikubo brings a polished striking arsenal, strong grappling fundamentals, and championship-level experience.
