Cleveland Wins After Tornado Warning in LFA 230

SHAWNEE, Oklahoma (April 3, 2026) — Legacy Fighting Alliance returned to the State of Oklahoma for LFA 230, presented by Monster Energy, at the Grand Casino Hotel and Resort in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  The event was headlined by a high-level Heavyweight showdown between rising prospect Nyle Bartling and dangerous contender Charlie Cleveland.  In an LFA-first, the event was temporarily suspended due to a tornado warning in the area.  After a two hour delay, the event was back on for the final two fights of the night.

The fights were worth the wait.  Cleveland was dangerous from the beginning as he punished Bartling with a fury of punches that ended in a knockout in the first round.  Cleveland took his record to 6-1.  In the co-main event, David Wright returned to the LFA in convincing fashion with a submission win over John Moore.  Just before the tornado warning, Jake Woodley had a unanimous decision win in front of his home crowd.

The LFA takes a week off before returning on April 17th to Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota.  LFA 231: Trembley vs Johns, presented by Monster Energy, will feature a pivotal featherweight main event as former LFA champion Elijah Johns (10-3) takes on undefeated Minnesota standout Taner Trembley (6-0).  Tickets are available now at Ticketmaster.com, and the event will be broadcast LIVE in the United States on VICE TV at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
