PHOENIX, ARIZONA — On Thursday, June 25th, LFA hosted the official weigh-in for LFA 236: Hernandez vs. Torres at the Holiday Inn & Suites Phoenix Airport in Phoenix, Arizona.

The originally scheduled bantamweight main event between Chilean veteran Eduardo Torres (19-3) and Kyrgyz finisher Aziz Osorbek Uulu (20-8) has been canceled after Osorbek Uulu failed to make the contracted bantamweight limit.

As a result, the scheduled 150-pound catchweight bout between Francisco Hernandez and Pepe Torres has been elevated to the evening’s main event.

LFA 236, presented by Monster Energy, will feature veteran MMA broadcaster Ron Kruck alongside former UFC star and UFC on ESPN analyst Alan “Brahma” Jouban on commentary.

The action takes place Friday night inside Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, and will air live in the United States on VICE TV at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. The event will also air across Latin America on ESPN Deportes and ESPN KnockOut.

Tickets are available now through LiveNation.com.

Kyle Estrada, Aiden Ingram, and Lisa Melendez missed their contracted weights, and their bouts will proceed as scheduled following the appropriate penalties. The scheduled middleweight bout between Austin Clayton and Elias Urbina IV has also been canceled after Urbina IV failed to make weight. LFA 236 will move forward with an updated ten-bout fight card, headlined by the catchweight showdown between Francisco Hernandez and Pepe Torres.
