About Centro Esportivo Pelezão

The Centro Esportivo Edson Arantes do Nascimento, widely known as “Pelezão,” is a historic multi-sport complex located in the Alto da Lapa district of São Paulo. Originally founded in 1971 and renamed Clube Escola Lapa – Pelezãoin 2007, the facility honors Brazilian football legend Pelé and has long served as an important hub for sports and community recreation in one of Brazil’s largest cities.
